The location
We are located in Praça Mouzinho da Silveira (Rotunda da Boavista), one of the city’s most prominent business centers. Vibrant commercial surroundings are combined with the great accessibility, just 2 minutes from Casa da Música metro station.
The house
Embodying Porto’s school great design tradition, our recently refurbished house is full of character and beautiful modernist details. Expect delicate, light spaces accentuated by period materials, such as hydraulic tiles and intricate carpentry details over beautiful 140 sqm.
The work area
Our main 10-station cowork room is complemented by 3 additional work rooms and a cosy meeting room.
The lounge area
Our coffee break and food lounge also includes a wonderful, fully equipped retro kitchen which doubles as the greatest informal meeting room.
The history
Our beloved office is a fine jewel of Porto modernism architecture school. This 1957 architecture project by Agostinho Ricca and Benjamin do Carmo shows a refined understanding of the typical 1950-1970 domestic space organization, with a clear hierarchy and fluid articulation. Ricca (1915-2010) “added to the modernism lesson a more organic view of solidity, quality and comfort” and this is the experience we strive for.
and... we are bike friendly
We cherish bikes at Espaço2D. Besides working with potential bike buddies, you'll probably get useful advice. Don't let your beloved bike in the streetwalk, bring it to work. Don't drive to work, workout to work. You can shower so you can get fresh for your productive day. No excuses any more.
